WHEN a Somerset wildlife charity opened its doors to visitors, all sorts of furry and feathered friends came out to say hello.
More than 4,000 people came to Secret World in Brent Knoll for its fundraising open day, Badger Bonanza.
People from across the region dropped in to catch a glimpse of this year’s badger cubs which are being cared for at the centre.
On the sunny day, birds of prey, fox cubs and many other animals were let out of their cages to meet their new friends.
Charity founder Pauline Kidner said: “Thank you to all the visitors who kindly donated towards our work during the open weekend.
“The donations will enable us to carry on caring for injured and distressed wildlife from across the South West and beyond.”
