WILLOW weavers in Shipham got crafty at a workshop on Friday.
Sophie Courtiour, famous for her striking willow crafts of the Beast of the Black Down Hills near Blagdon and Leaping Deer on the A303, gave lessons on the art form to residents in the Somerset village.
The theme of the workshop was Christmas and residents tried their hands at creating stars.
The workshop was held at Shipham Active Living in the village hall.
Residents are invited to go along to join in activities at the centre or a lunch if pre-booked. On December 7, Burnham U3A Concert Party will be entertaining and a lunch menu of roast turkey with all the trimmings will be laid on. Lunch will be served at 12noon and entertainment will start at 1pm.
For more details about activities call Alison Hoare on 01278 734731 or Andrew Paterson on 792904.
