The Helicopter Museum is also offering a family the chance to see the centre – and the rest of Weston-super-Mare – from the skies. Its prize includes a trip for a family of four to the museum where they will be whisked away for a helicopter ride above the coastline at an altitude of 1,000ft.

But that’s not all, the Sand Sculpture Festival is also offering a family ticket to its topsy-turvy event.

Team GB synchronised swimmer Cerys Hughes will be its special guest from 11am to noon and will provide demonstrations and taster sessions for kids in the centre’s main pool, where there will be swimming and inflatable fun during the day.

The event will also offer arts and crafts, a disco, fitness classes, and sessions for over-50s – including walking netball and cricket – and plenty of birthday cake.
