CAPTURING the true essence of Ireland, top Irish dancers and musicians will visit The Playhouse next month for a thrilling journey of song and dance.The new 18-piece show will take the audience to a unique place using a kaleidoscope of colour, infectious toe tapping music, striking costumes and joyful vitality.Essence of Ireland features some breathtaking routines by a 10-strong dance troupe and delivers a glimpse of some of the music and traditions of one of Europe's most culturally rich nations. This diverse production, to be staged on March 8, will provide an evening of spectacular traditional Irish dancing woven into a blend of both traditional and contemporary Irish musical and vocal arrangements.
