LEGENDARY Irish international singing star Brendan Shine brings a fabulous night of traditional Celtic entertainment to The Playhouse, Weston, on May 22 as part of a nationwide tour.With over 35 hit singles and 40 albums to his name, singer and accordion player Brendan Shine remains one of the biggest stars that Ireland has ever produced.Brendan has been a household name in Ireland for decades. He is a powerful all round entertainer, who combines his fine voice with his flare and passion on the accordion.Audiences at The Playhouse show will have the opportunity to hear some of his early hits, including Do You Want Your Old Lobby Washed Down and Carrots and some of his more recent releases such as Shoe The Donkey and Celtic Tiger. Brendan will be supported by his own band for this superb evening of Irish and country songs.Brendan made his musical debut in his father's country band while still at school and went on to become one of Ireland's best-known entertainers.His television series, Nice and Easy, topped the television ratings in Ireland and was later a big hit on screens in England.
