AUDIENCES are invited to 'jump and jive' in Weston this month.Forever In Blue Jeans features a talented cast of 10 singers, dancers and musicians who will lead audiences through an evening of entertainment with impressions and comedy in addition to classic feel-good hits. The show includes 50s favourites Lonnie Donegan, Brenda Lee and Bill Haley plus songs from the swinging 60s with Twist and Shout, The Hippy Hippy Shake and The Locomotion.There will also be a touch of Grease mania, with a megamix from the hit musical and some West End winning songs from Boogie Nights and Mamma Mia.There will be love songs from The Carpenters and Elvis Presley and country music fans will be treated to a music medley of hits.The company is led by TV and radio recording artistes Carole Gordon and Bob Newman, who have toured with both Tammy Wynette and Boxcar Willie and has been voted top British duo by the British Country Music Association for three consecutive years. Forever In Blue Jeans will be staged at The Playhouse on May 24.
