OLIVIER award-winning theatre is heading to Weston on March 11 to give West Country audiences the opportunity to see Mark Little as never before.Mark, who played Joe Mangel in popular Aussie soap Neighbours and presented Channel Four's The Big Breakfast, gives a wry insight into the battle of the sexes. The show takes an hysterical look at men and women and why the battle of the sexes still rages on, despite the age of equality being upon us. Defending The Caveman was created and performed by Rob Becker in San Francisco in 1991, and since then it has been seen by five million people across the world. The show opened on Broadway in March 1995 and ran until June 1997, making it the longest running solo play in Broadway history.Mark made his West End debut in Defending The Caveman at The Apollo Theatre in 1999, winning critical and public acclaim, and the following year he was awarded The Olivier Award for Best Entertainment for the one-man play.
