PREPARE yourselves for a 'grouchy, deadpan comic genius'.Perrier award and double Emmy award winner Rich Hall will appear in Weston with his one-man-and-a-mic show, which he first showcased at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival.Audiences are told to expect a 'fly by the seat of your pants, shoot from the hip, take no prisoners, hard-hitting comedy show'.Rich used to live just 100 miles from the Canadian border, so 'is almost Canadian' and particularly likes to lay into Americans and life across the Pond at every opportunity.Since relocating to the UK, Rich has become a familiar face on television. He has had two BBC TV series, Rich Hall's Fishing Show and Rich Hall's Cattle Drive, and is a regular guest on Have I Got News For You.His other TV credits include Jack Dee's Sunday Service, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, Room 101 and Edinburgh Nights.Rich Hall will be on stage at The Playhouse, Weston, on April 21.
