INTERNATIONALLY renowned for their up-tempo flair and vocal gymnastics, the London Community Gospel Choir returns to The Playhouse, Weston, on September 8.Ranging from gospel and traditional songs to swing beat and R 'n' B, the choir's soulful musical arrangements have a unique blend of dynamic sounds and rich harmonies.The choir's performance will consist of original work with songs such as Oh Happy Day, This Little Light Of Mine, Swing Low Sweet Chariot, He's Got The Whole World In His Hands, Amazing Grace and Kumbaya.The singers have appeared through the years on numerous television and radio programmes including Des O' Connor, Top of the Pops, and TFI Friday as well as several Royal Variety Shows. Many of the UK's top artistes have been backed by the choir such as George Michael, Luther Vandross, Sir Elton John, Mariah Carey and Sir Paul McCartney.
