MUSIC, magic and mayhem combine for an hilarious interpretation of William Shakespeare's The Tempest on March 19 at The Playhouse, Weston.The highly acclaimed Shakespeare 4 Kidz Theatre Company brings the work of our greatest playwright to children and young people of all ages and ability levels.It uses musical theatre to mix the original text with modern day language.Shakespeare 4 Kidz' The Tempest is a musical adaptation of the story of Prospero, the former Duke of Milan, who was exiled 12 years earlier on a mystical Mediterranean island.When a powerful sea-tempest shipwrecks his former adversaries, they are tricked and tormented by Prospero's magic to hilarious effect.The show has an energetic cast of 13, and a live band.The Tempest will be performed at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.Tickets, priced £8-13, are available from the box office on 01934 645544 or via* The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with The Playhouse to offer one lucky readers the chance to each win a pair of tickets to see the show.To enter, please answer the following question: Who wrote The Tempest?* Closes: 9am on March 8.
