The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with Applepie Productions, Weston, to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to attend this event for free.

WITH only a week to go before the popular CLIC Sargent Dance on February 1, party goers have not got long to snap up tickets.The annual event raised over £10,000 in 2007 for the children's charity and this year's dance at Sand Bay Holiday Village in Kewstoke promises a night to remember.Six bands will be donating their time and talents on the night and a fully professional sound system is being rigged up for the event by Emarty Productions.Three bands will be playing in the main room - The Firebirds, Doctor Chocolate and Saffron Monkey - while in the chill out room Out N Running, Lorna & Thomas and Three will be performing.A casino involving play money and a raffle will also add to the fun. This year's event is being run by non-profit management team Sarah Cox and Cherry Barnet, of Applepie Productions.Tickets, priced £15, are only available from Sand Bay Holiday Village on 01934 428200. An all-inclusive ticket is available at £25 and includes bed and breakfast. If you do not purchase an all inclusive ticket and decide to stay the night you will be charged £15 due to an administration fee. The event will run from 7.30pm-1am.
