The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with the Odeon, Weston, to offer two lucky readers the chance to each win a pair of tickets to see any film of their choice, subject to availability

IT'S time to face the music for Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore in a new romantic comedy.Showing at the Odeon, Weston, from Friday (Feb 9), Music & Lyrics tells the story of Alex Fletcher (Grant), a washed-up 80s pop star who has been reduced to working the nostalgia circuit at county fairs and amusement parks. The charismatic and talented musician gets his chance at a comeback when reigning diva, Cora Corman, invites him to write and record a duet with her. But there is a problem. Alex has not written a song in years, has never written lyrics, and has to come up with a hit in a matter of days. His only hope is Sophie Fisher (Barrymore), his beguilingly quirky plant-tending lady, whose flair for words strikes a chord with the struggling songwriter. On the rebound from a bad relationship, Sophie is reluctant to collaborate with anyone, especially commitment-phobe Alex. But as their chemistry heats up at, and under, the piano, Alex and Sophie will have to face their fears if they want to find love and success and hit all the right notes in life.* The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with the Odeon, Weston, to offer two lucky readers the chance to each win a pair of tickets to see a film of their choice, subject to availability. To enter, please answer the following question: What is the name of the diva who invites Alex to record a duet with her? * Closes on February 15.
