THE iconic creatures from two of the scariest film franchises in movie history wage their most brutal battle ever in Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem (15).The action thriller sequel starts immediately after the events of the 2004 release Alien Vs Predator.A predator incubating an Alien gives birth to a hybrid creature that causes the predator ship on which it is travelling to crash land on earth, where the Aliens find plenty of hosts to give rise to a terrifying army of extra terrestrials.A lone predator heads to earth, primarily to destroy the creatures that killed his comrades. But he is not prepared for the Alienator - a steely jawed, dreadlocked creature who is set on populating the planet with a new species by selecting pregnant women to become hosts for the Alienator's eggs. Both creatures have gone through design changes over the years and this release features a less extreme version of the ridge-headed warrior aliens last seen in Aliens and a slimmer, more athletic Predator, nicknamed Wolf, than the ones seen in Predator and Predator 2.* The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with the Odeon, Weston, to offer two lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see a film of their choice, subject to availability. To enter please answer the following question: In which year was the first film Alien Vs Predator released?* Closes: 9 am on January 25.* Usual Archant rules apply and the editor's decision is final. Please check the availability with Weston Odeon box office before arrival with your winning tickets.
