DR SEUSS' classic story Horton Hears A Who! (U) has been brought to the big screen by 20th Century Fox Animation, the creators of Ice Age.The Easter release is based on the book first published in 1954 by Ted Geisel, who wrote under the pen name Dr Seuss. Seuss books have sold over 200 million copies and have been translated into 15 languages.Horton Hears A Who tells the tale of an imaginative elephant who hears a cry for help coming from a tiny speck of dust floating through the air.Horton, voiced by Jim Carrey, suspects there may be life on that speck and, despite the rest of the jungle community thinking the elephant has lost his mind, he is determined to help.Horton holds strong to his belief that a person's a person, no matter how small, so much so that he promises to risk everything to keep a whole world of tiny people safe.* The Weston & Somerset Mercury has teamed up with the Odeon, Weston, to offer two lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see a film of their choice, subject to availability.
