Avon and Somerset Police have warned motorists to avoid the area until the road re-opens.

Police have warned motorists to avoid a road near Winscombe after a fire at a petrol station.

The A38 is currently closed at Bridgwater Road after a car fire this morning (Saturday, November 18).

Avon and Somerset Police are asking people to avoid the area while the closure is in place.

Update: Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed the road is re-open.
