Witness appeal after town centre fight

POLICE are seeking witnesses to a fight between several people in Weston town centre.

The disorder took place in Regent Street at around 2.30am on May 5.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting two police officers and causing criminal damage.

He is on bail while police enquiries continue.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is trying to identify other people who may have been involved.

Anyone who was in Regent Street or the surrounding area and has information which could help with police enquiries should contact DC Ian Williamson on 101.
