POLICE have issued a renewed appeal for information following the death of a pedestrian last month.

Mary Pinn, aged 82, collided with a Mercedes lorry as she crossed Nutwell Road near the junction with Worle High Street on December 10.

The road was closed for more than five hours following the accident at about 1.15pm.

Friends and residents of Worle paid tribute to Mrs Pinn following her death and calls have been made to improve road safety in the area following several incidents in recent months.

Police are still looking for witnesses to come forward. The Collision Investigation Unit can be contacted on 101.
