Drivers who may have seen an accident involving two cars on the outskirts of Weston yesterday (Tuesday) are being urged to come forward with information.

Two cars – a Fiat 500 and a Renault Megane – were involved in a collision on the A370 Somerset Avenue at West Wick at about 9.30am.

Although nobody was hurt in the incident, the cars were damaged – and police now want anyone who witnessed the crash to volunteer potentially important information.

A spokesman said: “The road was quite busy at the time of the incident and we believe a number of motorists may have witnessed the collision.

“We are keen to contact them, especially those who may have been in the second outbound lane and may have driven past the two vehicles involved in the collision.”

Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact the Tri Force Team by dialling 101, quoting reference 0303 of August 29.
