A WOMAN was attacked while using public toilets in Clevedon.

A WOMAN was attacked while using public toilets in Clevedon.

The incident happened in a toilet block in Elton Road at around 12.30pm on Monday.

The 36-year-old woman was punched in the face by a man before he stole her handbag and ran off.

Anyone who may have seen a man near the toilets at around that time should call police on 0845 456 7000.
