A WOMAN is critically ill in hospital following a two car crash in Portbury.
The accident happened on Monday (November 19) at just before 2pm.
A Toyota MR2 car was travelling down hill along Portbury Lane when it appears to have lost control on a right hand bend and then was involved in a collision with a Volkswagon Golf car.
The drive or the Toyota, a 29-year-old woman, was taken to hospital and is described as being in a critical but stable condition.
The occupants of the VW, a 63-year-old man and his wife, suffered minor injuries and shock.
Avon and Somerset Police's force collision unit is investigating the accident and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them on 0845 4567000.
