A WOMAN allegedly glassed a 16-year-old boy in the face during a night out in Highbridge, a court has heard.

Lisa-Marie Plumridge is accused of throwing an empty pint glass at the youth following a ‘flirty’ exchange outside a kebab shop in the town.

The boy suffered cuts to the eye and face following the apparent attack on January 8.

Plumridge, 25, of Charlotte Court, appeared before Sedgemoor Magistrates Court in Bridgwater charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on Tuesday.

She denies the accusation and will appear for trial at Taunton Crown Court next month.
