A CUSTOMER was 'repeatedly punched' in the face by a woman in an unprovoked attack at a Weston town centre bar.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault that took place in Dragon Kiss.

It says the incident happened on July 27, at about 11.40pm, in the Regent Street venue.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to in relation to the assault.

Anyone with information should contact the police on 101.

Dragon Kiss meanwhile has been granted a temporary change to its licence from North Somerset Council allowing it to stay open longer this weekend.
