Woman rescued from caves with head injury

Paramedics and fire crews rescued a woman earlier today (Tuesday) after she fell down some steps at the caves in Cheddar Gorge.

Fire crews from Cheddar, Wells and Bridgwater were required to assist the ambulance service in order to move her safely.

According to Devon and Somerset Fire, the casualty was moved on a stretcher as she had a head injury.
