Road closures will continue to affect people travelling in two North Somerset villages this week.

Woodborough Road, in Winscombe, has been closed since Saturday, and the work is expected to last two weeks.

This is due to Bristol Water’s work to install a water main.

Throughout the closure, the First Bus service A2 will operate directly from Banwell to Sandford and will not be able to serve bus stops between Winscombe and Sandford.

The 126 service will operate through Winscombe as normal.

Part of Elm Tree Road in Locking will also be closed until Friday, as Bristol Water is installing a new water connection in the area.

All buses will operate in Locking in an east-bound direction.

The bus stop by Locking Parish Church will be closed during the works.
