Work mates get cash for abseil

DAREDEVIL colleagues from a Cheddar firm took to the cliffs to raise cash for charity.

DAREDEVIL colleagues from a Cheddar firm took to the cliffs to raise cash for charity.

The Food Service Centre work mates, based in Wedmore Road, managed to raise £1,500 by abseiling down a 100ft building.

The team, named FSC Daredevils, of six women and one man, with little or no previous experience, all managed to successfully abseil the down the front of the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.

The whole event raised a whopping £12,000 which will be donated to CLIC Sargent.
