Work to double hotel's size begins

A £5MILLION development that will see a Congresbury hotel almost double in size has begun.

A £5MILLION development that will see a Congresbury hotel almost double in size has begun.

Work at the rear of Doubletree by Hilton at Cadbury House will see 50 jobs created as the number of bedrooms increases from 72 to 132.

Venue bosses say the extension will allow them to host more conferences, weddings and business meetings.

Cadbury House general manager Mark Hands said: "The reawakening of Cadbury House has really put this part of North Somerset right on the map.
