Bristol Water is now four months into its plans to install a 30km pipeline between Axbridge and Barrow Gurney.

The Southern Resilience Scheme is a £27million project which aims to provide improved water security to more than 280,000 people across Weston-super-Mare, Cheddar and Burnham-on-Sea.

Works are now taking place on the A371 by Axbridge with two-way traffic lights in place.

The work is expected to be completed by March 2018.
