THE last person alive at the top secret meeting before the D-Day invasion will be talking in Weston this week.
Stella Rutter was the hostess for the crucial meeting of allied commanding officers ahead of the invasion of occupied France in World War II.
She will be talking at Flowerdown residential home on Thursday at 10.30pm about her book, Who Goes Where?, which is her account of the events leading up to the famous invasion.
The talk is free, but anyone wishing to attend should contact Sheila Hanson on 01934 621664.
