The Swing Night at the Helicopter Museum

GERMAN paratroopers and boys from the Home Guard united in a night of jive dancing and swing music.

The Helicopter Museum held its annual World War Two-themed hangar dance, to raise funds for the museum.

The sold out event proved a huge hit with history fans and keen dancers. It took place around mounted machine guns, artillery cannon and even an unexploded wartime bomb.

Live music was provided by local band Swing Fever with DJs providing a 1940s and 1950s disco between sets.
