A teenage Elvis fan has won another award for his singing and guitar playing as the King.

Emilio Santoro, who attends Worle Community School, went to the Porthcawl Elvis Festival which is attended by hundreds of competitors every year.

Thousands of people also visit the show every year to celebrate the King.

Emilio, aged 14, went away from the competition with the Gold Lame Jacket Award for being the best 1950s Elvis Presley of the year.

Emilio is a regular at Elvis events, and he took part in the three-day European Elvis Championships last year.

He is also a keen footballer, and has been given the school’s yellow tie for sporting achievements.

He plays for North Somerset and Milton Nomads.

Principal Jacqui Scott said: “We are delighted for Emilio.

“He is achieving great things in sports and performing arts. This is another great achievement.”
