Overflowing dog poo bins in Worle have not been emptied for several weeks, causing complaints.
The Mercury reported in August that Weston Town Council opted to extend its contract with Bin-It Ltd, despite complaining of ‘blips’ with its service.

However, bins in Castle Batch park and in playing fields opposite Market Avenue have been left unattended.
Weston Town Council is in charge of 50 dog bins which cost around £4 each to empty.
A council spokesman said: “We have been repeatedly let down by our contractor who we trusted to empty the dog poo bins.
“We have come to an arrangement with North Somerset Council to empty all of the bins within the next few days, while we resolve the issue with the contractor.”
Cllr Denise Hunt said: “Frankly it’s disgusting and there are a number of seriously overflowing bins in North Worle.
“This keeps happening and needs to be sorted out.”
