Delicious looking cakes and beautiful floral arrangements filled the memorial hall in Silver Street.

And with the village bathed in sunshine, the lawns were full of people enjoying a drink and a slice of cake as well as the show itself.

Show secretary Jim Swords said the show had gone ‘fantastically’ well.

He said: “We had a record number of entries – fruit was especially popular.

“It was one of the best shows ever.”

Mr Swords has organised the show for the past 11 years but is now stepping down.

He said: “It’s nice to go out with a bang.
