Bakery break in prompts police appeal for witnesses

A High Street bakery was hit by a burglary earlier this week and police have launched an appeal for witnesses.

Pullin’s Bakery, in Yatton’s High Street, was broken in to between 8pm on Monday and 5.30am on Tuesday.

There was also an attempted break-in at Parsons Bakery, in Pages Court.

An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said: “Sometime between 8pm on Monday and 5.30am on Tuesday, Pullins Bakery in the High Street was broken into and a safe stolen.

“There was also an attempted break-in during the same period at Parsons Bakery, in Pages Court.

“If anyone saw either incident or has any information please call 101 and quote reference 5218192450.”
