A tasty Sunday lunch was served up at the weekend to mark the reformation of Yatton’s Royal British Legion branch.
The organisation has been dormant for more than five years and efforts this year have been made to resurrect it.
With the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One next week, plus the centenary of the RAF’s formation, falling in 2018, volunteers were keen to breathe fresh life into the group.
The first meeting of the reformed group was held a few weeks ago but a celebratory lunch took place on Sunday to officially mark the move.
Diners enjoyed a tasty meal at Yatton Rugby Club.
