Villagers in Claverham turned out to enjoy some fine beers in aid of good causes at the Yeo Valley Lions Club’s annual beer festival.
The three-day event took place at Claverham Village Hall, in Bishops Road, from Friday to Sunday and featured a selection of unusual beers, including new craft beers from small breweries and a range of ciders.
This was the Lions’ 14th beer festival and more than £60,000 has been raised by the events for charities in the past 13 years.
Lions member Barry Straughton said: “It went really well. The weather was kind to us, attendance was good and it was much enjoyed.”
