FARMERS from dairy producer Yeo Valley travelled to London this week in a bid to get the farm’s famous ‘rapping farmers’ track to number one – by tractor.

Farmers from the farm, near Blagdon, and Jamie Gomersall, one of the stars of the video, travelled to London in a Massey Ferguson tractor to dish out copies of the track to radio stations and then perform in Leicester Square.

The advert, featuring lyrics such as ‘big up your chest, represent the West’ has become a smash since making its debut during The X Factor in October, and has even won the support of top Radio One DJ Zane Lowe.

While the advert has been viewed over one million times on video streaming website Youtube, it also recently got to number 17 in the UK R&B charts after fans demanded it be released.

The track is currently available to buy on iTunes for 79p, with Yeo Valley not taking any profit from sales.
