Young musicians contest in Churchill

TALENTED youngsters will be battling it out for a prestigious village title this month.

TALENTED youngsters will be battling it out for a prestigious village title this month.

The Churchill Young Musician of the Year competition will take place at St John's the Baptist Church in Church Road at 6pm on January 25.

This year Melanie Ragge, the Royal Academy of Music's professor of Oboe, will be among the judges deciding who will scoop a cash prize and a performance at St George's, Bristol.
