YOUNGSTERS have been busy clearing up vandalised benches and buildings in Claverham. The clean up was carried out by the local action team, which has a number of young members. One of the concerns raised by the group was the large amount of graffiti daubed around the village.Community beat officer PC Andy Bibbings said: "Half of the members of the action team are young people."They are aware that graffiti is appearing regularly around the village and do not want to get the blame for it."So they decided it would be a good idea to remove it themselves."The youngsters did a tour of the village to identify where graffiti was a problem. The bench at Anvill Close got a clean up as part of the project.Pictured is Claverham community beat officer PC Andy Bibbings with volunteers Claire Appleby, Sarah Dunbar, Jake Stanley and Samantha Baker cleaning up some of the graffiti in Claverham.
