Easter arts and crafts session at Uphill Church.

Youngsters from a North Somerset village got into the Easter spirit with a special art and crafts session last weekend.

St Nicholas Church, in Uphill Road South, opened its doors to the people of Uphill and spread Easter joy to the children and parents.

Lynn Pack, a member of the church’s social committee, said: “It was quite successful for the first one.

“It was nice to make some Easter bonnets and gardens.”

The church will host a barn dance and ploughman’s supper at 7.30pm on Saturday. Entry £8 per person.
