Puxton Park in Hewish held its first conservation weekend of the year on Saturday and Sunday, with children who turned up enjoying a range of different activities.
They met farmer Mark Slade and planted a variety of native trees, shrubs and bulbs with him, as well as helping to clean the park’s pond and taking home their own plant pots at the end of the day.
