Year five youngsters at St George’s Primary School handed a cheque to Lynda Morris of Send A Cow this week.

The children visited a Somerset farm last academic year and met a Ugandan farmer who inspired them to help the charity.

They then bought a number of ideas on African farming back to the Pastures Avenue site.
