Youngsters showcase their musical talents

HUNDREDS of youngsters are taking part in an annual music festival, receiving awards and trophies for their talents.

The Weston Junior Arts music festival got underway last week with the strings and woodwind sections.

Children from all over the town showcased their abilities with clarinets, flutes, violins and violas at the Victoria Methodist Church in Station Road.

Separate competitions for piano and vocal performers will take place next week.
