YOUNGSTERS donned their wellies and got creative at a crafty event.
Children at the Secret Garden Nursery in Brinsea Road, Congresbury, explored the outdoors during an activities week.
The staff and children spent most days in the open air, exploring materials like paint, sand, mud, hay, leaves and branches, as well as boxes and tubes.
Nursery owner, Stefanie Metcalfe, said: "We believe it is so important that children are able to spend time outside, interacting freely with their environment.
"The youngsters made dens and pretend bonfires and got as muddy as they liked. "They loved it.
