PARENTS will be able to give their views about home births at a meeting in Clevedon.

On Wednesday, the Maternity Services Liaison Committee, which covers North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire, will invite anyone who has used maternity services in the past three years to attend.

The group was established to advise hospitals and primary care trusts on how local maternity services can be improved.

January's open meeting will involve midwives, hospital doctors, health visitors as well as members of local groups, such as children's centres.

The meeting will take place at the YMCA in Marson Road from 10am-12.30pm.

Anyone wishing to attend should call 0117 984 1562.
