AN INNOVATIVE alcohol free bar for young people has been handed a lottery grant.Barcode Youth Cafe in South Parade, Weston, which is run by the town council, has won £4,966 from the lottery's Awards for All programme.The money will allow a successful young band night held on the fourth Saturday of each month to continue. It will be spent on upgrading the sound and light equipment as well as publicity, door staff and blinds to the dance area.The bands playing on March 25 will include Autocrat, Sometimes Sunday and Indigo Blues.
