BURNHAM Area Youth Centre's online group has now introduced the New Year, New online You campaign to get more people logging onto the internet.
One in five adults do not use computers or the internet and the campaign focuses on how to get the best value from government services and how to increase employment prospects by using available and up-to-date web resources .
Online centre co-ordinator, Mike Lang, said: “We know from experience that anyone and everyone can get more out of life online.
“We’re delighted with how many people make going online their New Year’s resolution, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors who come through our doors for the first time.
“It doesn’t matter if you’ve never used computers before, or if you already know a little bit, we’re here to help.”
The BAY Centre is one of more than 1,500 UK online centres encouraging people to make the resolution, New Year, New Online You.
The BAY Centre, in Cassis Close, is also holding a free New Year, New Online You sessions on February 3.
