Jack Reynolds recently competed for England in the Sea Angling Liaison Committee (SALC) Home Nations Championships 2022 in Weymouth.
The 15-year-old from Worlebury, who is sponsored by Baytree Road Garage and Tom Lane Plumbing of Weston, was part of the English side which took on teams like Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
And after the first day of fishing, it was England who were in second place.
However, on the second day England came out with all guns blazing and were the first to catch fish in all four zones.
England kept that up throughout the day to win the trophy with 3,856 points and claim the gold medals. A tremendous achievement with a true team performance.
The team is managed by Paul Driver and assistant manager Anton James.
"I am so proud of this England Junior Shore Team and what they have achieved," said Driver.
"I am so proud to be managing this team it's hard to put into words what it means and the importance of what we have achieved."
