Luke Mason whitewashed his opponent in the final of the Gloucestershire county fencing competition.
BROADOAK Mathematics and Computing College student Luke Mason, aged 13, took part in the Gloucestershire county fencing competition.
He fenced in the Under-14 boy’s category. He won all his pool fights and worked his way through the DEs to reach the final. This he won 10-0, his use of mobility and exceptional timing frustrated his opponent, who couldn’t work out a strategy in enough time to counter Luke’s tactics.
Luke fences at Churchill Fencing Club Wednesday evenings.
