RIGHT from the kick-off, the young Hornets side exerted pressure on their opponents.

Soon after, hooker Craig Withers controlled a driving maul from the back and was able to touch down the first of his brace and further scores came from flanker Nettleton and skipper Vivian before half-time, all converted by Davidson to make the score 28-0.
The second half began with North Petherton’s best spell of the game, but they were unable to register any points. Hornets struck again, this time Withers scything through and offloading to the supporting Davidson to score and convert for 35-0.
Greg Speller made the next decisive break, having dominated the line-out all afternoon in defence and attack, he made a good 60 metres before offloading to Sheridan who went under the posts.
Next to score was the impressive Bailey Jackson, who carried the ball with purpose all afternoon, this time managing to brush off two defenders to score a converted try.
Further tries followed from Adam Vaughan, Withers and the returning Steve Thompson, making the final score 66-0. Davidson’s 26-point haul took him through the 100-point barrier for the season.
