Panthers gave a spirited performance against Bobbies in a Weston Netball League match.
FOLLOWING Bobbies’ recent good form, Panthers knew this would be a tough Weston League match, and so it proved as they lost 56-36.
Panthers got off to a strong start, keeping possession and putting pressure on the Bobbies attack. Bobbies extended to a 13-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Panthers struggled to feed into the circle during the second quarter with Bobbies’ defence working well and in the third quarter, Bobbies extended their lead.
During the final quarter, Panthers kept calm and applied excellent defensive pressure against a strong attack. Despite the score, Panthers continued to show great team spirit.
